Role Description The Full Stack Engineer role at Softylus is a full-time, on-site position based in Zarqa, Jordan. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web applications across both front-end and back-end layers, ensuring responsive interfaces and robust server-side logic. Daily tasks include implementing user-facing features, building APIs, integrating databases, writing clean and testable code, and participating in code reviews. The engineer collaborates with designers, other developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions, while troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring high-quality releases. The role also includes contributing to technical documentation and staying current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Full-Stack Development and Software Development skills, with experience building end-to-end web applications.
• Candidates should possess solid Front-End Development skills, including proficiency with HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
• Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development skills, including experience with server-side frameworks, RESTful APIs, and database integration.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Candidates should possess problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Candidates should possess effective communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, on-site team environment.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular) and popular back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, .NET, or similar) is an advantage.
