Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Frontend/Full stack Developer. Our stack includes a Graphql API exposed by a NodeJS server written in Typescript and a NextJS frontend using Relay GraphQL client.  End-to-end type safety, code generation, good developer experience, scalable architecture, and good CI/CD practices are at the core of our engineering philosophy. 

We are looking for a frontend developer with a strong CS background and at least 3-5 years of working experience with React/NextJS in Typescript, Tailwind CSS, at least one year of experience with GraphQL client. Fullstack experience with NodeJS backend is a plus. We are a fully remote company, hence good work ethic is very important for us. 

Frontend Development: Create and optimize user interfaces using Next.js, Tailwind CSS and Relay Client. Ensure seamless integration with backend services and a smooth user experience.

Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and TypeScript. Implement GraphQL endpoints to support frontend functionalities.

GraphQL Integration: Develop and manage GraphQL schemas and resolvers. Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure efficient data querying and state management using Relay Client.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Front-End Development for seamless collaboration with strong expertise in Next.js and Relay Client or Apollo client. Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
• GraphQL: Solid understanding of GraphQL principles, including schema design, queries, and mutations.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
• Experience with Programming in relevant languages and frameworks
• Ability to work in a remote environment with minimal supervision
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with cloud-based systems and scalable architecture is a plus including experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
• CI/CD: Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
