About The Role

We are currently seeking a talented Web Developer to join our dynamic engineering team in a remote capacity, strictly for candidates based within the United States. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that support our engineering projects and bolster our online presence. You will work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and ensure the seamless functionality of our digital platforms. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving project workflows, client engagement, and overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
• Proven experience as a web developer, preferably within an engineering or technical environment
• Proficiency with frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Experience with content management systems like WordPress or Drupal
• Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL or MongoDB
• API integration expertise
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA or Trello
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement web applications using modern technologies and frameworks
• Create responsive and mobile-first designs to ensure optimal user experiences across devices
• Build and maintain backend services and databases to support web applications
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, gather feedback, and troubleshoot technical challenges
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform interface design and enhance user experience
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs aligned with company branding and client needs
• Implement comprehensive testing, including unit and integration tests, to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues promptly to maintain application stability
• Regularly update web applications to incorporate new features, improve functionality, and enhance security
• Monitor website performance and optimize for speed and efficiency
