For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer II (Remote Eligible) to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will focus on building full-stack capabilities that support a modern software platform, spanning user experience, backend services, and the infrastructure that enables reliable delivery. You will take ownership of large, ambiguous initiatives from concept through launch while partnering closely with engineering peers to strengthen performance, scalability, and developer experience. The position also calls for thoughtful collaboration on architecture, code quality, and practical use of AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $145,000 – $210,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Design and build full-stack features across front-end, back-end, and infrastructure
  • Own large, ambiguous projects from concept to general availability
  • Lead front-end challenges with high-performance rendering
  • Design complex back-end systems and APIs for real-time collaboration
  • Identify and resolve operational and developer experience issues
  • Utilize AI coding tools to enhance the software development lifecycle
  • Conduct design and code reviews to elevate engineering standards

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of engineering experience in a team environment
  • 3+ years in service-oriented architecture and cloud infrastructure
  • Proficiency in high-level programming languages such as Ruby, Java, Go, Python, or TypeScript
  • Experience with modern JavaScript libraries such as React and Redux
  • Knowledge of OOP and REST design principles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Curiosity and interest in learning new technologies and systems
