About The Role
The Quantitative Software Developer role at Campbell & Company offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about combining software development with quantitative research. Qualifications

Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on quantitative analysis or financial engineering. Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB,
Python, C/
C++, and
SQL is essential. Candidates should have experience in developing software
applications, implementing mathematical models, and working with time series
data. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment are crucial. Prior experience in

Responsibilities
- Develop internal applications and libraries using technologies such as MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and SQL, adhering to the firm’s development standards and processes.
- Gather requirements from quantitative researchers and other stakeholders, translating them into technical solutions that meet business needs.
- Implement, document, and thoroughly test new systems and enhancements to existing codebases to ensure reliability and performance.
- Apply domain expertise and technical knowledge to optimize algorithms, improve data processing workflows, and increase overall efficiency.
- Lead or participate in key technical initiatives, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members when appropriate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Market Data, Operations, and Trading to ensure seamless integration and functionality of developed tools.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, models, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and future development efforts.
