Senior Informatica Developer

Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior Informatica Developer on behalf of our client . This role requires a highly skilled data integration professional with expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), and Microsoft Azure. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting enterprise ETL platforms, resolving complex production issues, optimizing data workflows, and contributing to cloud modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica IDMC.
• Provide production support for enterprise data integration environments, ensuring system stability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex ETL, data quality, and workflow-related issues.
• Optimize ETL processes, SQL queries, and database performance for scalability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, database administrators, and development teams to deliver data integration solutions.
• Support cloud migration and data modernization initiatives leveraging Microsoft Azure services.
• Develop and maintain integrations using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and related Azure technologies.
• Participate in deployment, release management, testing, and change control activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and best practices.
• Utilize version control and DevOps tools to support application lifecycle management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in Informatica ETL development and production support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
• Experience working with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
• Proven experience supporting large-scale enterprise ETL and data integration environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure data and analytics services.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) or similar cloud integration platforms.
• Advanced SQL development, query optimization, and database tuning skills.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, or other version control tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, or Foundry.
• Exposure to cloud migration and enterprise modernization projects.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and master data management practices.
• Experience working within managed services or production support environments.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
