Engineer. This role sits within the
engineering team responsible for the ingestion, transformation, storage, and delivery of market, position, and reference
data into critical risk systems.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain production data pipelines supporting risk analytics platforms.
- Build reliable, recoverable, and observable data workflows to ensure data freshness.
- Engineer performant Python applications for large-scale data processing and transformation.
- Optimise analytical data stores and query performance for critical risk systems.
- Contribute to monitoring, alerting, and operational reliability across all data services.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience building and operating production-grade data pipelines.
- Strong Python development skills with a focus on maintainable and performant code.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
- Deep understanding of analytical or columnar databases like ClickHouse.
- Proficiency with data processing libraries including NumPy, pandas, Polars, or Arrow.
