The Role

• Develop and implement a predicate and invariant framework for data contracts
• Design declarative contract classes for Python methods, ensuring code conforms to specifications
• Evolve and extend schema, adapters, and validation layers for the annotation platform
• Investigate and resolve verification and validation failures
• Document the framework comprehensively and facilitate knowledge transfer
• Collaborate with a senior architect on initial designs and independently own implementation
  
  

What You'll Need

• Experience with formal and abstract structures like logic, type systems, and program analysis
• Ability to demonstrate both vision and execution in software development
• Deep understanding and experience with production Python, including decorators, descriptors, metaclasses, and type hints
• Strong analytical reasoning skills to work with ambiguous or underspecified ideas
• Excellent technical communication skills for design docs, code reviews, and documentation
• Proven independence in scoping and delivering work, with sound judgment for escalating complex design questions
