Role Description The General Manager (GM) is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and driving the growth of The Entrepreneur 100. The GM will coordinate content planning and publishing schedules, manage contributor and partner relationships, and ensure consistent brand voice and quality across channels. This role will analyze audience metrics and performance data to inform strategy, optimize processes, and support revenue-generating initiatives such as sponsorships or partnerships. The GM will also handle basic budgeting and resource allocation, maintain operational documentation, and collaborate with leadership on strategic planning and experimentation. This position requires a hands-on operator who is comfortable working autonomously in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in general management, operations, or business leadership, preferably in a digital media, content, or startup environment.
• Strong skills in strategic planning, goal setting, and prioritization, with the ability to translate strategy into clear, actionable plans.
• Experience managing remote teams or contributors, including coordination, communication, and performance oversight.
• Ability to interpret analytics and performance metrics (e.g., audience growth, engagement, conversion) to guide decisions.
• Familiarity with content production workflows, editorial calendars, and basic digital marketing concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a clear, concise, and inclusive communication style.
• Comfort working part-time with flexible hours, taking ownership of outcomes, and operating with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship, founders’ stories, and business-building topics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with tools such as project management platforms, collaboration suites, and basic financial tracking is a plus.
