🚀 Opportunities: Backend Developer, Fullstack Developer & Frontend Developer | International Project

At HAYS, we are currently looking for three profiles to join a strategic international project, with a multidisciplinary team based in Portugal.

Position 1: Backend Developer

Conditions & Work Model

• Staff: Up to 48,000€ gross/year+ meal allowance (€10,60/day) + health insurance (fixed-term contract)
• Freelance option: up to 35€/h + VAT
• Hybrid model: 3 days/week at the office in Lisbon

Main Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs
• Develop and manage databases and data models
• Ensure performance, reliability, and security of backend services
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams
• Integrate third-party services and external APIs
• Monitor, debug, and optimize application performance
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
• Ensure code quality through testing and code reviews

Must Have

Proven Experience with:

• Node.js,TypeScript, Docker, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, NestJS
• Experience with React and React Native
• Fluent English (spoken and written)

Position 2: Fullstack Developer

Main Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain full-stack web applications
• Build responsive and user-centric frontend interfaces
• Develop robust backend services and scalable APIs
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers
• Ensure high standards of performance, security, and scalability
• Integrate third-party services and APIs
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews and architecture decisions
• Troubleshoot and resolve both frontend and backend issues

Must Have

Proven experience with:

• Node.js
• React and React Native
• HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript
• PostgreSQL
• NestJS
• Fluent English (spoken and written)

Position 3: Frontend Developer

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using modern frontend frameworks
• Translate UI/UX designs into clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, backend, product)
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards
• Create and maintain reusable frontend components and libraries
• Identify issues, debug code, and continuously improve application performance
