The Role

• Implement and maintain microservices for the payment domain using Java, Spring Boot, Gradle, and Kubernetes.
• Work on backend with relational and NoSQL databases, and frontend with React, TypeScript, and Material UI for efficient and secure payment processing.
• Adhere to Clean Code principles for maintainability, especially for financial transactions.
• Monitor for technical issues (tracking, alerts) to resolve them before they impact customers.
• Provide technical support to users and customer service, finding quick and pragmatic solutions.
• Ensure product quality through automated testing at relevant stages for sustainable development.
  
  

What You'll Need

• Initial professional experience in software development and solid Java skills, ideally with Spring Boot.
• Interest in digital payment and financial processes, with a willingness to learn new topics.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn, enjoying developing solutions collaboratively with your team.
• Experience with payment, fintech, or integration environments is a plus (e.g., Adyen, Stripe).
• Interest in clean system architectures, Domain-Driven Design, Microservices, and hexagonal architecture.
• Proficiency in German (min. B2) and good English.
