We are looking for a Software Engineer specializing in Web Application Development to design, develop, test, and maintain modern web applications and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in front-end and back-end technologies, experience with modern web frameworks, and an interest in building reliable data pipelines and meaningful analytics insights.

In this role, you will shape solutions, challenge assumptions, work with leading technologies and vendors, and gain valuable business knowledge of the FMCG industry. Your work will support data-driven decision-making and user satisfaction across all 29 countries where CCH operates.

YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications serving our IT products using modern web frameworks.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to ensure high-quality user experience and functionality.
• Use approved AI coding coding agents to support requirements analysis, implementation, refactoring, testing, documentation, debugging, and code review, while retaining full accountability for the resulting code.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following architectural guidelines.
• Translate product requirements into clear, bounded engineering tasks containing the relevant architecture constraints, interfaces, dependencies, edge cases, security requirements, and acceptance criteria before delegating work to an AI coding agent.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability based on the requirements to meet user expectations.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to web applications.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in web development, especially in cloud ecosystems.
• Collaborate with CCH architects across different IT (DTPS) teams and with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth DevOps operations in cross functional initiatives.

ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in web development.
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with modern web frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong knowledge of back-end technologies such as .NET, GraphQL, REST APIs, Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with API integration and technologies such as RESTful APIs, Azure functions.
• Experience with databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in using AI coding agents across implementation, testing, debugging, refactoring and documentation, while retaining ownership of code quality and technical decisions.
• Skilled in context engineering: creating clear task specifications and curating the relevant code, architecture constraints, standards, examples and tool access required for reliable AI-assisted development.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of Agile methodology and SAFe Agile is appreciated
• Azure certification, such as Azure Developer, is a plus.
