Join Pülse NWA as a Full Stack Software Engineer and help us build the digital platform that keeps Northwest Arkansas connected. You'll own features from conception to production, working across our
React frontend and
Node.js/Deno backend infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features across React frontend and backend systems
- Design and implement scalable API endpoints and database schemas
- Optimize application performance and user experience across all platforms
- Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive test coverage
- Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into implementation
- Debug complex issues across the full stack and implement robust solutions
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Deploy and monitor application changes in production environments
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional full stack development experience
- Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern web frameworks
- Experience building and maintaining backend APIs (REST, GraphQL, or similar)
- Solid understanding of databases, SQL, and data modeling
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows
- Ability to write clean, testable code and work in a collaborative environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Experience With
- Node.js, Deno, or TypeScript backend development
- Real-time features (WebSockets, polling, streaming)
- Payment processing (Stripe, PayPal) integrations
- Map integrations (Mapbox, Google Maps)
- Mobile app development or React Native
- AWS, Google Cloud, or similar cloud platforms
- Docker and containerization
