2. About the Opportunity:

The Software Engineer, DevInfra role focuses on enhancing the software development lifecycle to enable faster, safer, and more reliable software delivery. This position supports engineering teams by developing tools and infrastructure, deploying AI solutions, and optimizing cloud and Kubernetes environments. The role is critical in advancing engineering efficiency and innovation across the organization.

3. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various teams to optimize their software development lifecycle for speed, safety, and reliability.

• Deploy AI tools and build platform agents to improve on-call response and automate bug resolution.

• Manage systems handling massive event ingestion and querying with low latency.

• Administer cloud infrastructure including Terraform, cost management, networking, and security.

• Oversee Kubernetes standards, upgrades, and developer experience.

• Own observability pipelines, managing Prometheus metrics and distributed tracing.

• Maintain GitHub Actions-based CI/CD pipelines enabling self-service while ensuring stability.

• Manage devbox systems for cloud development environments.

• Procure and manage SaaS tools used across engineering teams.

• Lead new engineer onboarding processes.

4. Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of industry experience.

• Proficiency in at least one of the following: Go, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Production experience with Kubernetes.

• Experience managing infrastructure on a major cloud platform, preferably Google Cloud Platform.

• Familiarity with coding agents like Claude Code.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Total target cash compensation ranges from $157,500 to $213,000 USD.

• Position is eligible for equity consideration and includes medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage.
