About Garocha

Garocha is building a modern platform for creators and streamers to engage directly with their audiences through interactive experiences, Gifts, challenges, messages, and creator-focused tools.

We are looking for a strong Full-Stack Engineer who can take ownership of the entire technical stack — from the frontend users interact with to the Django backend, APIs, database, integrations, and deployment.

This is not a frontend-only or backend-only role. We want someone who is comfortable working across the complete product.

What You'll DoFrontend — Next.js

• Build and maintain Garocha's web application using Next.js and React.
• Develop responsive, fast, mobile-friendly interfaces.
• Convert Figma/design concepts into clean, production-ready UI.
• Build reusable React components and frontend architecture.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs.
• Implement authentication, user dashboards, creator dashboards, payments, Gifts, challenges, notifications, and other platform features.
• Optimize page speed, SEO, Core Web Vitals, and overall frontend performance.
• Handle browser compatibility and responsive layouts.
• Maintain clean, scalable, and maintainable frontend code.

Backend — Django

• Build and maintain Garocha's backend using Python and Django.
• Design and develop REST APIs.
• Build authentication, authorization, user management, creator systems, Gift systems, transaction systems, notifications, and other core functionality.
• Design efficient database models and relationships.
• Work with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Implement background jobs and scheduled processes where required.
• Build secure and scalable backend architecture.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs.
• Implement proper validation, error handling, logging, and monitoring.

Payments & Integrations

You will work with external services and integrations, including:

• Payment gateways and payment APIs
• Creator payout systems
• Authentication providers
• Streaming/platform integrations
• Email and notification services
• Webhooks
• Analytics and third-party APIs

Experience handling payment transactions, webhooks, fraud prevention, refunds, payouts, or financial records is a major advantage.

DevOps & Deployment

You should be comfortable handling basic infrastructure and deployment responsibilities, including:

• Linux servers

• CI/CD
• Docker
• Nginx
• Cloud hosting
• Database deployment and backups
• SSL/security configuration
• Monitoring and troubleshooting

You don't need to be a dedicated DevOps engineer, but you should be capable of taking a project from development to production.

If you are primarily a frontend developer who occasionally works with backend code, or primarily a backend developer who cannot independently build modern Next.js applications, this role may not be the right fit.
