We're hiring a mid-level engineer to work across the broader CodeBridge portfolio — the customer products we build and operate alongside our flagship AnalyzeMyCalls. You'll move between projects as the work demands it, which is the fastest way we know to grow a mid-level engineer into a senior one.

About CodeBridge

We're a small product-engineering studio (codebridgehq.com) based in Novi Sad. We co-own the systems we build — Terraform, AWS production, CI/CD, the lot — and stay close enough to our customers to rebuild their stack when it stops scaling. We don't do throw-it-over-the-wall consulting.

How we work

Four days a week in the Novi Sad office, one day flexible. It's a deliberate choice — the architectural decisions and product calls we make happen at a whiteboard with the team in the room, not async in Slack threads. For a mid-level engineer, that means you're learning from senior teammates by sitting next to them, not by reading their PR comments three hours later.

What you'd actually do

• Ship features end-to-end in Next.js / TypeScript customer apps — UI, API routes, data layer
• Drop into Python services where the work requires it (FastAPI most often)
• Write real SQL against PostgreSQL — joins, indexes, the occasional migration
• Work alongside seniors on AWS deployments (ECS Fargate, RDS, Lambda, Cognito, S3) without owning the whole infra surface yet
• Move between projects as priorities shift, which means context-switching is part of the job

What we're looking for

• 2–4 years building production web systems — at least one role where you shipped features end-to-end, not just tickets out of a backlog
• Solid TypeScript + React / Next.js, with real comfort in the App Router model
• Working knowledge of Python — enough to read, debug, and contribute to a FastAPI service from day one
• PostgreSQL fluency — joins, indexes, query plans, why your slow query is slow
• Some AWS exposure — even "I deployed a Lambda and a Postgres instance for a side project" is a real signal
• Comfort moving between codebases — you'll have multiple repos open in any given week
• Based in Novi Sad or willing to relocate

Nice-to-haves

• Raw SQL experience, solid level.
• Terraform, Docker, or other infra-as-code exposure
• Experience integrating third-party APIs that are not fun (Google Ads stack, telephony, banking — anything where the docs lie)
• A side project, OSS contribution, or technical blog you can point to
