2. About the Opportunity:

The Software Engineer - Dice will contribute to designing, developing, and delivering impactful product features within a modern, cloud-native technology stack. This role involves providing technical support, adhering to architectural standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining high-quality, maintainable software. The position is crucial for advancing the platform''s capabilities, leveraging AI tools to enhance development efficiency, and influencing both technical and cultural aspects of the team.

3. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deliver product features in a cloud-native environment

• Provide technical support and adhere to architectural decisions

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and data partners

• Use AI coding tools to improve productivity and code quality

• Take ownership of complex systems and contribute to design discussions

• Participate in code reviews and maintain engineering standards

• Help evolve systems by reducing technical debt and improving performance

• Deliver end-to-end features that align with business goals

4. Requirements:

• Experience building and maintaining production applications using Node.js and TypeScript

• Proficient in developing scalable, maintainable RESTful APIs

• Experience with front-end frameworks like NextJS or React

• Proven experience deploying highly available applications on AWS

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing (e.g., Playwright)

• Solid understanding of architectural patterns such as event-driven, serverless, and service-oriented architectures

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities

• Strong collaboration and communication skills
