# Software Developer

## About the Role

MACC, a division of Harris, is seeking a Software Developer with expertise in MSSQL, REST APIs, C# (.NET Core), and Angular (TypeScript, HTML, CSS). The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions that support business needs and deliver reliable applications.

This is a fully remote role open to candidates located anywhere in Canada or the United States. The position includes approximately 10% travel to AGM in Eastern Nebraska. Candidates must have a current, valid passport and be legally eligible to travel to the United States, either through passport-based visa exemption or by holding any required travel visas.

## Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain database solutions using MSSQL.

* Develop and maintain RESTful APIs supporting various applications.

* Write clean, scalable, and efficient C# code using the .NET Core framework.

* Develop and maintain front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

* Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.

* Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

* Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and software development practices.

* Use AI-enabled technologies, including copilots, chat-based AI assistants, and automation tools, to improve workflows, solve problems, and increase efficiency while maintaining appropriate judgment, security, and compliance standards.

## Required Qualifications

* Associate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

* Proven experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar software development role.

* Proven proficiency in MSSQL and database design.

* Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.

* Proficiency in C# and the .NET Core framework.

* Experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

* Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks.

* Current, valid passport and legal eligibility to travel to the United States as required for the role.

## Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

* Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

* Familiarity with GitHub practices and tools.

## Work Arrangement & Schedule

## Compensation & Benefits

**Salary:** $40,000–$65,000
