About The Role

We are seeking a talented UI Developer to join our team remotely and support our CDC program. This mid-level role is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in SAP front-end development and hands-on expertise with modern UI frameworks. The UI Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining user-facing applications within the CDC VTrckS environment, ensuring that solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business needs. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, functional leads, and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality UI solutions that enhance user experience and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will bring a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement in UI architecture and development practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 development
• Proficiency in using VSCode for development, build, and troubleshooting activities
• Experience with GitHub Copilot to support development workflows
• Strong understanding of front-end development best practices, debugging, and application support
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Experience with OData and CDS build/development (preferred)
• Prior experience supporting federal or public sector environments (preferred)
• Familiarity with SAP integrations and enterprise application support
  
  

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain user interfaces using SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 frameworks
• Create and enhance responsive, user-friendly applications that meet both business and technical requirements
• Utilize VSCode for efficient development, troubleshooting, and build activities
• Support code development workflows using GitHub Copilot, ensuring high productivity and code quality
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, functional leads, and stakeholders, to deliver optimal UI solutions
• Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, testing phases, and deployment activities
• Document technical designs, development standards, and implementation procedures for future reference and team knowledge sharing
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of UI architecture, development practices, and overall user experience
