About The Role
We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining critical software systems that support our manufacturing processes and business operations. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of building and deploying production-level Go services. Candidates should have solid experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization. Technical expertise in API design (REST, gRPC, or GraphQL), containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines is required. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and experience working in remote teams are highly valued. Additional qualifications that will set you apart include familiarity with Ruby on Rails, event-driven messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ, infrastructure tooling such as Terraform, and experience in high-traffic, real-time systems.
Responsibilities

You will define architectural strategies, evaluate tradeoffs, and communicate technical recommendations effectively to stakeholders. Mentoring junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and pairing will be an integral part of your role. Additionally, you will contribute to improving engineering practices by advocating for best practices around code quality, testing, observability, and deployment. Collaboration with product managers, designers, QA teams, and other engineering groups will be essential to translate business needs into effective technical solutions. You will also participate in on-call rotations, addressing production incidents and implementing long-term reliability improvements.
