Our commitment to quality, safety, and sustainability has established us as a trusted name in the manufacturing industry. We prioritize fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages continuous learning, professional growth, and employee well-being. As part of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking talented professionals to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of delivering superior products and solutions to our customers.

About The Role

We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining critical software systems that support our manufacturing processes and business operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, ensuring system reliability, performance, and security. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, particularly with Go, and a passion for solving complex technical challenges. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact within a reputable manufacturing organization while advancing your career in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of building and deploying production-level Go services. Strong proficiency in designing and operating distributed systems, microservices, or event-driven architectures is essential. Candidates should have solid experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization. Technical expertise in API design (REST, gRPC, or GraphQL), containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines is required. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and experience working in remote teams are highly valued. Additional qualifications that will set you apart include familiarity with Ruby on Rails, event-driven messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ, infrastructure tooling such as Terraform, and experience in high-traffic, real-time systems.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include designing and building scalable backend services using Go that support our manufacturing and business operations. You will lead the technical design and implementation of complex features from concept to deployment, ensuring high performance and reliability. Diagnosing and resolving system performance bottlenecks, optimizing database queries, and enhancing system resilience will be key to maintaining operational excellence. You will define architectural strategies, evaluate tradeoffs, and communicate technical recommendations effectively to stakeholders. Mentoring junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and pairing will be an integral part of your role. Additionally, you will contribute to improving engineering practices by advocating for best practices around code quality, testing, observability, and deployment. Collaboration with product managers, designers, QA teams, and other engineering groups will be essential to translate business needs into effective technical solutions. You will also participate in on-call rotations, addressing production incidents and implementing long-term reliability improvements.
