Role Description This is a full-time, Full Stack Developer (
C#.NET) role based in Leicester. The Full Stack Developer will design, build, and maintain
web applications using
C#.NET and related technologies across both front-end and back-end layers. We use the latest
.NET stack with Blazor as our primary technology although people who have experience with older variations of
.NET will still still be considered.
Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, integrating with internal and external systems and ensuring application performance and
security.
The role involves working with other teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, as well as maintaining and refactoring existing codebases. The developer will also participate in code reviews,
testing, troubleshooting, and deploying
applications, while contributing to documentation and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong back-end skills in C#.NET and Back-End Web Development, including building APIs, data access layers, and integrating with databases.
- Experience with Front-End Development, including Blazor, HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
- Proven experience in Full-Stack Development and Software Development, covering design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of web applications.
- Ability to work with modern development tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and basic query optimization.
- Good understanding of secure coding practices, debugging, and performance tuning.
