We're hiring: Backend Developer (PHP / Laravel / Node.js)

Key Plus is expanding our core platform. We are building out case tracking, payment processing, and external partner integrations—and we need a solid Backend Developer to own that infrastructure as we scale.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain REST APIs for case tracking, follow-up logs, and payment capture.
• Build resilient integrations with third-party partner systems and payment gateways.
• Own the database schema design for our lead and conversion pipeline.
• Collaborate closely with our frontend developer and operations team to eliminate data gaps.

What We’re Looking For

• Core Stack: Deep experience with PHP 8.3+ and Laravel (REST APIs), paired with Node.js 20+ for external scripts and worker queues.
• Databases & Caching: Strong hands-on experience with MySQL 8 and Redis.
• Authentication: Solid understanding of Laravel Passport or Sanctum.
• Integration Experience (Essential): Proven track record of integrating at least one payment gateway or mission-critical third-party API in a live production environment.
• Resilience Mindset: Practical knowledge of failure handling, retry mechanisms, and idempotency for external services.
• Plus Points: Exposure to Laravel Horizon, Octane, or Reverb, or domain experience in fintech, insurance, or high-volume lead attribution.

Work Arrangement & Details

• Location: On-site at our office (Monday – Friday, standard office hours).

Note: Own transport is required as the location has limited public transit access.

• Compensation: RM 4,500 – RM 7,500 / month (commensurate with experience).
• Team: Lean, fast-moving, and high-ownership.
