We're helping one of our partners—a major global music label—find a Senior Software Engineer to join their Product Design & Engineering team.

What you'll do

• Work with a cross-functional team to build products used by artists and record labels worldwide.

• Design and build secure, standardized MCP servers that bridge AI models with internal tools and data.

• Contribute to an API-first architecture, integrating backend services with agentic AI workflows.

• Implement automated evaluation (evals) and SDLC processes to ensure quality for AI-driven capabilities.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to prioritize agentic feature delivery.

• Write clean, tested, and maintainable code.

• Participate in architecture, technical design, and system refinement.

• Mentor junior engineers and help foster a culture of continuous learning.

The ideal candidate

✔ Can mobilize teams around a technical vision and drive execution.

✔ Has strong experience with data modeling and schema design.

✔ Defines engineering best practices and helps build reusable tooling and libraries.

✔ Has experience optimizing schemas, tables, and data structures.

✔ Understands observability and can identify meaningful KPIs to improve system performance.

What we're looking for

8+ years of software engineering experience, including:

• Distributed systems

• Python and/or JavaScript

• GraphQL (Apollo GraphOS / Supergraph) and API-first design

• REST APIs with OAuth authentication

• CI/CD pipelines and AI evaluation frameworks (evals)

• Database technologies including Neo4j, Kafka, MySQL, Snowflake, Elasticsearch, and more

• MCP architecture (servers, connectors, plugins)

• AWS Cloud technologies

• Low-latency and high-performance system design

• Telemetry, logging, and performance analysis

• Unit and integration testing

• Agile software development
