Compensation: $160K base + 15% target bonus

About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Full Stack Engineer to build and maintain scalable, cloud-native web applications in a modern AWS environment. This role combines full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript development with hands-on AWS engineering, containerization, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.

This is a hands-on engineering role, not an architecture or management position. You'll write code, build and deploy applications, troubleshoot across the full stack, and collaborate with Product, Platform Engineering, and other developers to deliver secure, reliable software.

We're looking for an adaptable engineer who enjoys working across the stack, continues learning new technologies, and is actively incorporating modern AI development tools into their engineering workflow.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend and backend frameworks.
• Build and deploy cloud-native applications across AWS services including ECS, EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Containerize applications with Docker and deploy workloads to AWS ECS.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Design and support CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
• Develop modern responsive web applications using React, Angular, or similar frameworks.
• Build backend applications and APIs using Node.js, NestJS, or comparable technologies.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and relational databases.
• Integrate enterprise authentication and authorization solutions such as Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, or Ping.
• Support secure artifact and package management workflows.
• Troubleshoot applications across the full stack, from frontend code through backend services and AWS infrastructure.
• Apply security, reliability, testing, and observability best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity, quality, and delivery.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment with Product, Engineering, and Platform teams.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on AWS application development and deployment experience.
• Demonstrated experience working directly with AWS services such as ECS, EC2, Lambda, S3, and RDS.
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker and production containerized deployments.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS skills.
• Experience with Node.js, NestJS, or a similar backend framework.
• Experience building modern web applications using React, Angular, or a comparable frontend framework.
• Experience with REST APIs and relational databases.
• Experience with Git-based development workflows and automated testing.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Strongly Preferred:

• Hands-on Terraform / Infrastructure as Code experience within AWS.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines; GitLab CI/CD is preferred.
• PostgreSQL experience.
• Enterprise identity provider integration such as Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, or Ping.
• GitLab and artifact repository experience, including tools such as CloudSmith.
• GraphQL experience.
• Testing experience with Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, or similar frameworks.
• Demonstrated use of AI-assisted software development tools such as AWS Kiro, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex, or similar technologies.
• Evidence of continuous technical learning through new frameworks, languages, cloud technologies, certifications, or self-directed development.

Nice to Have:

• Java or Kotlin.
• Kafka or AWS Kinesis.
• AWS Lambda and serverless architecture.
• AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, or other observability platforms.
• Headless CMS platforms such as Contentful.
• ZScaler or zero-trust networking.
• AWS certifications, including Generative AI-focused certifications.
• Agile/Scrum development experience.

What We're Looking For:

The ideal engineer is a versatile, hands-on builder rather than a narrow specialist. You should be comfortable moving between frontend development, backend services, databases, AWS infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and production troubleshooting.

We're especially interested in engineers who continue expanding their technical skill set and can demonstrate how they're using AI-assisted development in their day-to-day engineering work, whether through coding assistants, agentic development workflows, automated testing and code review, or production GenAI capabilities.
