About The Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator (Software Development) to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between various stakeholders, including the CTO, software developers, QA teams, product managers, and support staff. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that software development projects are well-coordinated, progress is tracked accurately, and engineering processes are adhered to consistently. This position emphasizes project management, process compliance, reporting, and maintaining high visibility of ongoing projects rather than direct software development tasks. The ideal candidate will excel in managing multiple priorities, facilitating effective communication, and ensuring timely project delivery.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in roles such as Project Coordinator, Delivery Coordinator, PMO Coordinator, or similar positions within technology or software development environments.
  • Proven experience coordinating software development or technology teams.
  • Hands-on experience with ticket management or project management systems; familiarity with proprietary or in-house tools is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to follow up and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); familiarity with Agile methodologies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily activities across the Software Development team to ensure smooth workflow and task completion.
  • Track project progress, monitor deadlines, and ensure deliverables are met according to schedule.
  • Follow up with developers on pending tasks, upcoming deadlines, and potential blockers.
  • Escalate project delays, risks, or issues to the CTO or relevant management promptly.
  • Maintain and update internal ticket management systems, ensuring tickets are accurately assigned, prioritized, and documented.
  • Ensure all work is properly documented before closure, and monitor overdue or inactive tickets for escalation.
  • Ensure adherence to established development workflows and internal processes, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present daily and weekly status reports, including project trackers and dashboards for management review.
  • Monitor key project metrics such as progress, open and closed tickets, overdue tasks, blocked items, team workload, and delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate communication between development, QA, product management, support, and other stakeholders.
  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings, stand-ups, planning sessions, and follow-up discussions.
  • Record meeting minutes, assign action items, and ensure their timely completion.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and trackers, supporting continuous process improvements.
