About The Role

The role owns full-stack feature delivery across a product surface used by hundreds of thousands of users — from React frontends and Node/Python services to the PostgreSQL schemas and APIs underneath them.

This is not a ticket-factory role. Engineers here own features end-to-end: scoping, architecture, implementation, deployment, and post-launch iteration, working directly with product managers and designers in small, autonomous teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and ship user-facing features across the stack: React/TypeScript frontends, Node.js or Python backend services, and PostgreSQL data models
  • Build, version, and document REST and GraphQL APIs consumed by web and mobile clients
  • Own infrastructure-as-code deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
  • Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; maintain coverage and reliability standards as the codebase scales
  • Participate in architecture reviews and RFC processes, contributing to technical decisions on system design and tooling
  • Debug production issues end-to-end — from frontend behavior through API traces to database queries — using observability tooling like Datadog or Grafana
  • Mentor mid-level engineers through code reviews, pairing, and design feedback

What We Are Looking For

  • 3–7 years of full-stack software engineering experience, shipping and maintaining production web applications
  • Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript (React or a comparable modern frontend framework) and at least one backend language (Node.js, Python, or Go)
  • Solid relational database skills: schema design, query optimization, migrations (PostgreSQL preferred)
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized deployment workflows
  • Track record of owning features from design through production launch and iteration
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
