The Oman Promotional Brand Office (OPBO) was established pursuant to Royal Directives issued in November 2024 and formally constituted under Ministerial Decree 430/2025. Operating under the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, OPBO is the single national entity responsible for managing and promoting Oman's unified brand identity to investors, visitors, businesses, and communities around the world.

Role Summary

Technical owner of the organisation's web properties. The Website Developer is responsible for the build, performance, security and ongoing maintenance of all websites, working closely with the design and brand teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development or related field.

Demonstrated portfolio of production websites required.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the organisation's web properties end-to-end.
• Implement designs in modern front-end frameworks and integrate them with the chosen content management system.
• Ensure site performance, security, accessibility (WCAG) and bilingual (EN/AR, RTL) functionality.
• Manage hosting, deployments, version control, analytics implementation and third-party integrations.
• Maintain technical documentation and uptime/incident response procedures.
• Coordinate with external development or hosting partners where required. Skills & Experience
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and at least one modern framework (React, Vue, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with WordPress, Webflow, or comparable CMS platforms.
• Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals, web performance optimisation and analytics tagging.
• Experience building bilingual websites with right-to-left language support.
• Familiarity with hosting providers, deployment workflows and version control (Git).
