We're looking for an Intermediate Software Developer to join our growing team and help support, enhance, and evolve large-scale software systems used in real-world operational environments. This is a permanent, full-time position offering the opportunity to work on established platforms, collaborate with experienced developers, and contribute to projects that have direct impact on client operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, takes ownership of their work, and wants to continue growing their technical and professional skills within a supportive team environment.

While much of the work will ultimately be delivered using the Moxie.Build platform, prior Moxie.Build experience is not required. We will provide training as part of your onboarding.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack web applications
• Enhancing existing software systems and implementing new features
• Troubleshooting and resolving production issues
• Working with both client-facing and internal project teams
• Participating in solution design, technical discussions, and code reviews
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, including AI-assisted development workflows
• Working across Windows and Linux environments
• Collaborating with developers across multiple time zones
• Learning and supporting large, mature software systems over time

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

• 3-5 years of professional software development experience
• Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills
• Experience with full-stack web application development
• Experience working with relational databases
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining existing production systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed team

Nice to Have

• Bootstrap 3 and Bootstrap 5 experience
• Cloudflare experience
• Experience working in both Windows and Linux environments
• DevOps or deployment experience
• Experience supporting long-lived or enterprise software systems
• Client-facing consulting or professional services experience

AI and Developer Productivity

We believe AI has become an important tool in modern software development. Successful candidates should have a strong interest in AI-assisted productivity and ideally some practical experience using AI tools for:

• Research and problem-solving
• Code generation and refinement
• Debugging assistance
• Documentation
• Testing and quality improvement

We view AI as a force multiplier for skilled developers, not a replacement for sound engineering judgement.

In this role, you'll gradually build expertise in both our internal development platform and client systems. You won't be expected to know everything on day one.
