Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Full Stack Engineer (MERN). The person in this role will design, develop, test, and maintain end-to-end web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js). Day-to-day activities include implementing front-end interfaces, building and optimizing back-end APIs, integrating databases, and ensuring responsive, secure, and scalable solutions. The engineer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to refine requirements, participate in code reviews, and contribute to architecture decisions. The role also involves debugging issues, improving performance, writing clean, well-documented code, and staying current with best practices and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Strong Full-Stack Development and Software Development skills, ideally with hands-on experience in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
• Proficiency in Front-End Development, including JavaScript frameworks, responsive design, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
• Experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, authentication/authorization, and database schema design.
• Solid understanding of version control (e.g., Git), testing practices, and CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to design scalable architectures, optimize performance, and ensure application security.
• Comfort working in remote, cross-functional teams, with clear communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker) is a plus.
