About The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Software Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and enhancing our web-based enterprise health platform. Your contributions will directly influence the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare management for millions of users. You will work closely with senior developers, product managers, and designers to implement new features, improve existing functionalities, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of software development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred)
  • Previous experience with Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) systems is preferred
  • Proficiency with Git for code management, with experience working in a mono repository preferred
  • Strong expertise in Python (Flask, SQLAlchemy) and TypeScript (React)
  • Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, and indexing techniques
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, particularly AWS and Terraform, with a security-focused approach
  • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and API-based application development
  • Participation throughout the entire SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
  • Proven track record of delivering complex web applications to cloud environments
  • Strong understanding of unit testing across multiple paradigms
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features for the enterprise health platform
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code based on product specifications and requirements
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability
  • Participate in planning, design discussions, and code reviews with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices
  • Become a subject matter expert on the team’s products and technology stack
  • Ensure adherence to security standards and best practices in infrastructure deployment
  • Maintain documentation of code, architecture, and technical decisions
  • Support deployment and operational activities in cloud environments
  • Engage in Agile/Scrum methodologies to facilitate iterative development and delivery
