About The Role
As a software development professional, you will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from technical design and implementation through integration and ongoing improvement. You will build software primarily within the Microsoft .NET ecosystem, applying strong C# and object-oriented development expertise to create high-quality solutions. The role also involves developing web-based applications with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, or comparable frameworks.
You will participate in design reviews and help ensure that software deliverables meet established standards for performance, quality, maintainability, and reliability. Working closely with the Software Development Manager and other engineers, you will help translate project needs into practical technical solutions. This position is suited to someone who can contribute hands-on while also bringing sound judgment to design decisions, development practices, and collaboration across a team.
Qualifications
Candidates should have 7–10 or more years of experience in software architecture and development, along with experience establishing or advancing modern engineering practices. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred; equivalent professional experience is also welcome. Applicants should have a strong foundation in core computer science principles and the ability to apply them to real-world software development.
Required experience includes working within the Microsoft .NET ecosystem, including ASP.NET Core, and developing modern web applications using Angular or similar frameworks. Strong C# skills, object-oriented design expertise, and practical experience with JavaScript and TypeScript are important. Candidates should also have experience working in Agile or Scrum environments, using varied technologies and frameworks, and applying software design patterns appropriately. Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions using C# and Microsoft .NET Core, following sound object-oriented design principles. Write clean, high-quality, high-performance code that is understandable, maintainable, and suitable for production use. Develop web-based solutions using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, or comparable technologies, and contribute to the evolution of existing applications as project needs change.
Participate in software architecture discussions and design reviews, offering practical recommendations that support quality, performance, and long-term maintainability. Work closely with the Software Development Manager and team members to define technical approaches and deliver high-priority initiatives across current and future projects. Contribute to the integration of software standards and consistently follow established SDLC processes. Collaborate throughout Agile or Scrum delivery cycles, communicate progress and technical considerations, and support the testing and integration of software deliverables.
