About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to join a project for a leading European public sector organization. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing modern, secure, and high-performing web applications that deliver excellent user experiences across devices and browsers.

As a key member of the engineering team, you will contribute to the architecture of front-end solutions, collaborate closely with other developers and stakeholders, and help build scalable applications using modern frameworks and best practices. You will have a direct impact on the quality, performance, accessibility, and security of the products delivered to end users.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern web applications using contemporary front-end frameworks, libraries, and web technologies
• Design and implement intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces that provide an outstanding user experience
• Build scalable and reusable front-end components and architecture that support long-term product growth
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software
• Ensure applications perform efficiently across different browsers, devices, and operating environments
• Apply security best practices, including authentication, authorization, input validation, secure data handling, logging, and monitoring
• Participate in software design discussions and contribute to technical decision-making
• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure reliability and maintainability of applications
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues while continuously improving code quality and development processes
• Maintain high standards of code integrity, documentation, organization, and maintainability
• Deliver solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements while aligning with user needs and business objectives
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or completed 3-year higher education) in a relevant field and at least 7 years of professional experience in IT projects
• Strong hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, including building complex, modular client-side applications
• Solid expertise in HTML5, JavaScript (ES6+), CSS, and modern front-end development best practices
• Experience with web security, authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect
• Proficiency with software development and collaboration tools, including Git, JIRA, Confluence, and integrating applications into CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent English communication skills (minimum B2 level) and the ability to work effectively in international, cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving skills, a results-oriented mindset, and the ability to quickly adapt to new environments; French language skills and experience in public sector or multinational environments are considered a plus
