About The Role
As a Software Developer Frontend/Backend (m/f/d), you will help design, build, and maintain tailored applications for our business and customers. Working closely with business experts and colleagues, you will develop modern web solutions using appropriate tools, frameworks, and architectural approaches. Your work will span frontend development, backend services, APIs, data models, and integrations with SAP Commerce and Azure IoT. You will also contribute to the availability, security, and ongoing improvement of the Weishaupt Anlagenportal. This role is suited to a developer who enjoys taking ownership, solving complex requirements, and working across the full application stack.

About The Role

Qualifications
- A completed degree in application development, computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Approximately three to five years of relevant experience developing and maintaining applications.
- Practical experience implementing web applications with a headless architecture, including frontend development and backend API provision and implementation.
- Experience with the Microsoft Azure platform and familiarity with microservices environments, including relevant Azure services and architectures.
- Knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud, particularly its Angular storefront, is valuable.
- Experience with Angular and REST APIs, along with an understanding of data models, interfaces, and backend services.
- Good written and spoken German and English communication skills.
- A self-directed, reliable approach and the ability to deliver effectively in complex requirement scenarios.
- Curiosity about new processes, technologies, and ways of working, together with a collaborative mindset and strong commitment.
- Contribute to the concept and design of tailored, future-ready applications in partnership with business experts.
- Develop and design smart frontend and backend applications, including reusable frontend components with Angular.
- Implement, operate, and enhance backend services using Azure App Services and REST APIs.
- Build and maintain backend data models, functions, and interfaces connected to SAP Commerce and Azure IoT.
- Coordinate tasks and manage defined work packages or subprojects, keeping progress and priorities clear.
- Build internal expertise for supporting and further developing the Weishaupt Anlagenportal.
- Monitor application availability, track events, investigate issues, and implement appropriate improvements.
- Take responsibility for application functionality and contribute to continuous improvement throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ensure that solutions meet applicable compliance, quality, and security requirements.
