Forward Deployed Engineer - Applied AI

Remote | Europe / UK

We’re hiring for a high-impact opportunity with an AI-focused product team within a global enterprise software company who is hiring a small group of senior engineers to work on a set of new AI-focused product and integration initiatives. These roles sit within a core product and engineering team and focus on building modern, scalable systems across enterprise software, integrations, data workflows, and AI-enabled automation.

This is a role for someone who wants to go beyond a narrow engineering seat. You’ll work across product, engineering, and customer delivery, helping shape solutions from idea through to deployment. The team moves quickly, works closely with end users, and values people who can combine technical depth with strong curiosity and ownership.

What we’re looking for

  • Experienced backend / integration engineers with strong understanding of integration patterns, APIs, system design, and data movement tradeoffs
  • AI-native full-stack engineers who actively use modern AI development tooling as part of how they build software

Ideal background

  • Strong software engineering foundations
  • Experience with modern AI-assisted development workflows
  • Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments
  • Good architectural judgment and understanding of technical tradeoffs
  • For integration-focused profiles, experience with tools such as Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar iPaaS platforms is valuable
  • Awareness of technologies such as LangGraph or LangChain is helpful, though deep hands-on experience is not essential
  • Experience in enterprise asset management, field service, or adjacent industrial software domains is a plus, but not required

Why join

The team is looking for engineers who want to work on meaningful technical problems using current AI tooling and modern engineering approaches. There is room to shape solutions, work with a high degree of autonomy, and apply new technologies in a practical way inside a large-scale product environment. The culture offers flexibility and freedom in how people work day to day.
