Role Description

The Frontend / Backend Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications by delivering high-quality frontend interfaces and robust backend services. This role supports the full software development lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration between client-side and server-side components while optimizing application performance, security, and reliability.

Key responsibilities include developing responsive and user-friendly frontend applications that provide intuitive user experiences across multiple devices and browsers. The role also designs and maintains backend services, business logic, APIs, and databases to support application functionality, data processing, and system integration.

The position participates in application architecture, technical design, code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure software quality and maintainability. It implements secure coding practices, optimizes database queries, and enhances application scalability to support evolving business requirements.

In addition, the role integrates third-party services, manages data exchange between systems, and supports deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance of applications. It contributes to improving development workflows through automation, documentation, code quality standards, and continuous integration practices.

The role collaborates closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and cross-functional development teams to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions and deliver high-quality software products.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of frontend and backend development principles, web application architecture, object-oriented programming, and software engineering best practices.

Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks, backend programming languages, RESTful APIs, databases, version control systems, and software development tools. Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, and DevOps concepts is advantageous.

Knowledge of database design, data modeling, application security, authentication, authorization, and system integration techniques.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues, optimize application performance, and develop scalable software solutions.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, testing practices, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, manage multiple development tasks, and deliver maintainable, high-quality software within project timelines.
