- Proficiency in back-end programming languages including Java, Python, or C#.
- Deep understanding of architectural and design patterns like MVC, RESTful API design, Singleton, Factory, and Observer patterns.
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Ability to create and maintain detailed technical documentation supporting system accreditation and security compliance.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role encompass a broad range of technical and collaborative tasks, including:
- Developing applications aimed at enhancing user interfaces, enabling operators, and increasing operational efficiency.
- Identifying opportunities where technology can streamline processes through automation and advanced data management solutions.
- Participating in the full software development lifecycle, including system architecture, development, testing, and deployment of secure software solutions.
- Designing, prototyping, and implementing web applications utilizing JavaScript, HTML, HTML5, and CSS.
- Utilizing Python and frameworks like Django to build accessible, user-friendly applications.
- Collaborating with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Engineers to troubleshoot, optimize, and recommend UI capabilities.
- Working closely with customers to understand requirements, enhance user experience, and ensure all implementation specifications are met.
- Creating comprehensive technical documentation supporting system accreditation efforts and security protocols.
- Ensuring software solutions adhere to security standards and best practices throughout development and deployment phases.
