About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the design and user interface of the Supermicro website, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. You will create and analyze reports for various web applications, participate in the revamp and migration of tools, and leverage artificial intelligence to automate processes and improve operational efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the ongoing development of our web infrastructure, including the migration from Drupal to newer platforms, and resolving performance and display issues to optimize functionality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a B.S./M.S. degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in front-end web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React.js or jQuery is required. Additionally, candidates should have at least 3+ years of experience integrating RESTful APIs and developing multi-page web applications. Proficiency with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony, relational databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL, and web servers like Apache, Nginx, or IIS is essential. Experience with mobile development, SEO best practices, and knowledge of ASP.NET and server technologies like ColdFusion are considered advantageous. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of software development best practices, rapid learning capabilities, and adaptability to complex environments. Self-motivation, attention to detail, responsibility, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are crucial qualities for this role.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance the functionality of web applications while maintaining the integrity of existing websites. Create comprehensive reports for training purposes, tools, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement. Utilize AI technologies to automate workflows, streamline processes, and assist in the retirement or revamp of legacy tools. Lead the migration of the website and associated tools from Drupal to newer platforms, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs, performance issues, and display problems to optimize website performance and user experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features, improve existing functionalities, and ensure the security and scalability of web solutions. Stay updated with the latest web development trends and incorporate innovative technologies to enhance our digital presence.
