About the Role

We are looking for a Middle / Strong Middle Software Engineer with strong React expertise and a product-oriented mindset.

Your primary focus will be frontend development using React and TypeScript, while also contributing to backend services, APIs, integrations and business logic using Node.js. We are not looking for someone who only implements tickets. We are looking for an engineer who enjoys understanding business problems, taking ownership of solutions and contributing across different parts of the platform when needed.

You will work on CRM, Core Banking, Client Area and other fintech modules within a platform built using modern Micro Frontend and Microservice architecture.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy building products, learning continuously and making a visible impact on the systems they work on.

AI-Assisted Engineering

Modern software development is changing rapidly, and AI tools have become an important part of engineering workflows.

At Wifox, we actively use tools such as Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot and similar technologies as part of our daily development process.

We are looking for engineers who:

• Regularly use AI tools in their work

• Leverage AI for implementation, debugging, refactoring, research and problem-solving

• Continuously improve their productivity through modern engineering tools

• View AI as a practical engineering advantage rather than a replacement for engineering thinking

Active usage of modern AI development tools is considered a core requirement for this role.

What You Will Do

• Develop new product functionality using React, TypeScript and Node.js

• Build and maintain user interfaces across multiple fintech products

• Work within a Micro Frontend and Microservice architecture

• Develop integrations, APIs and backend functionality when needed

• Improve performance, reliability and maintainability of existing systems

• Collaborate with engineers, QA, DevOps and product stakeholders

• Take ownership of features from implementation through release

Core Requirements

• Commercial experience with React, TypeScript and Node.js

• Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture and component-based design

• Experience working with REST APIs and GraphQL

• Experience working with Micro Frontend architecture

• Ability to independently solve technical problems and take ownership of solutions

• Active usage of AI development tools such as Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf or similar

• English sufficient for technical communication and documentation

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation: €1,250–€2,750 per month, depending on experience, technical level and overall fit
