Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Full-stack Developer based in Brussels, with flexibility for part-time work from home. In this role, the Full-stack Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain web applications across both front-end and back-end components. Daily responsibilities include implementing responsive user interfaces, building and integrating server-side logic and APIs, optimizing application performance, and ensuring code quality through reviews and best practices. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver secure, scalable solutions that align with client needs. The role also involves maintaining documentation and contributing to continuous improvement of development tools, workflows, and architecture.

Qualifications

• Strong front-end development skills, including experience with HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
• Proficiency in back-end web development, with knowledge of server-side frameworks, APIs, and databases.
• Experience in full-stack development, integrating front-end and back-end components into cohesive software solutions.
• Solid software development fundamentals, including version control (e.g., Git), testing, debugging, and secure coding practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and manage priorities independently.
• Familiarity with modern frameworks or libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js, or similar) and cloud or DevOps tools is an advantage.
