JD: Software Engineer (.NET / C#)



We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer (.NET / C#) to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET. In this role, you will build high-performance, secure, and reliable applications, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the full software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in ASP.NET Core, Microsoft SQL Server, REST APIs, and modern development practices, with a passion for writing clean, maintainable code and delivering robust backend solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Candidates must be comfortable working within EST time zone hours

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using C# and .NET (Core / .NET 6+)
  • Implement scalable business logic, data access layers, and system integrations.
  • Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Write efficient and optimized SQL queries, ensuring data integrity in SQL Server (MSSQL).
  • Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Write unit tests, perform code reviews, and troubleshoot production issues
  • Maintain technical documentation and adhere to security and coding standards.



Required Skills & Qualifications



  • 5+ years of experience in backend development using C# and .NET
  • Strong experience with ASP.NET Core / Web API
  • Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), including query optimization
  • Strong understanding of OOP principles, clean code, and design patterns
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with authentication/authorization mechanisms (e.g.,JWT)
  • Ability to work in EST time zones
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
