Company Description

Ministry of Programming is an AI-first digital product studio that helps startups and growth-stage companies build, launch, and scale digital products.

Since 2015, we have worked with companies across FinTech, HealthTech, e-commerce, Social, BioTech, and MusicTech, combining product strategy, design, software development, and AI-assisted engineering.

We are now looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our team in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Role Description

We are looking for a versatile Full Stack Engineer who can contribute across the full development lifecycle — from building clean, scalable features to deploying and operating services in the cloud.

This role is ideal for someone with strong engineering fundamentals, solid OOP knowledge, cloud experience, and a genuine interest in AI-assisted development.

You will work across frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and AI-powered workflows as part of a collaborative product engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack features across frontend and backend.
  • Apply OOP principles, clean architecture, and good engineering practices.
  • Work with cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Work with Docker and understand container orchestration concepts such as Kubernetes.
  • Integrate AI/ML APIs and LLM-based services into applications.
  • Use AI coding assistants as part of the daily development workflow.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers in Agile teams.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
  • Identify technical debt and suggest practical improvements.

Must-Have Skills

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience in a full stack or backend-heavy engineering role.
  • Strong understanding of OOP principles, SOLID, design patterns, and clean architecture.
  • Experience with a modern frontend framework, preferably React.
  • Good knowledge of TypeScript and component-based frontend architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider, preferably Azure.
  • Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker.
  • Familiarity with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Good English communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with .NET/C# and ASP.NET Core.
  • Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience with Service Bus, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar technologies.
  • Exposure to ML/AI model training, HuggingFace, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Whisper, or CLIP.
  • Open-source contributions or public portfolio projects.
  • Experience in IT consultancy or multi-client environments.

Who You Are

You are curious, adaptable, and comfortable working across different technologies. You are not tied to one stack, but you bring strong engineering depth, a clean-code mindset, and the ability to work independently.

You are also excited about how AI is changing software development and already use tools such as Copilot, Cursor, Codex, Claude Code, or similar assistants in your workflow.

Why Join Us

At Ministry of Programming, you will work on real products, with real engineering challenges, in a team that values curiosity, ownership, and continuous learning.

This role sits at the intersection of traditional software engineering and modern AI-augmented development.
