About RediMinds π
At RediMinds, we build AI-enabled systems that help complex industries operate better, faster, and more intelligently. Our work spans healthcare, legal, finance, government, and other high-impact domains where software quality, trust, and speed truly matter.
We are a growing, entrepreneurial team that values ownership, clarity, compassion, and technical excellence. We're looking for builders who want to grow with us, contribute meaningfully, and be part of a team creating real products with real-world impact.
The Role π―
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our distributed team across the United States. This role is ideal for someone with substantial full-stack experience who enjoys architecting and building across the stack, from clean frontend experiences to reliable backend services, APIs, databases, integrations, and deployment workflows. You should be comfortable working in a fast-moving product environment where requirements evolve, collaboration matters, and experienced engineers think beyond tickets and contribute to technical direction.
What You'll Do π οΈ
- Architect and build full-stack web applications across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases, with an eye toward scalability and maintainability.
- Mentor and collaborate with product managers, AI/ML engineers, QA testers, designers, and business stakeholders.
- Lead technical discussions and drive engineering best practices, code quality standards, and architecture decisions.
- Translate complex business requirements and workflow needs into elegant, scalable, maintainable software solutions.
- Develop and lead implementation of intuitive frontend interfaces and robust backend services.
- Own integrations with AI-enabled systems, document processing workflows, automation tools, and internal platforms.
- Drive debugging, testing, and continuous improvement of applications with strong attention to quality and performance at scale.
- Lead code reviews, contribute to sprint planning, own release strategy, and mentor other engineers.
- Proactively improve engineering practices, documentation, development workflows, and tooling.
- Bring expertise and perspective to cross-functional collaboration with distributed and remote teammates.
What We're Looking For β
- Previous experience in a Senior Engineer or equivalent role, with a strong track record in full-stack web application development at scale.
- Deep, production-grade experience with frontend frameworks such as React or similar modern stacks.
- Deep backend experience with Node.js, Python, Flask/FastAPI, Express, or similar technologies in production environments.
- Strong command of database design and optimization across relational databases (SQL), NoSQL/document stores, and an understanding of appropriate data store selection for different use cases.
- Experience architecting and implementing scalable cloud solutions. Strong understanding of microservices, horizontal and vertical scaling, and parallelization.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure at scale.
- Experience and strong understanding of monitoring tooling. Knowledge of key metrics and logging strategies to derive system health and performance insights.
- Mastery of version control tooling, release processes, CI/CD systems, and collaborative workflows.
- Production experience with CI/CD tools, GitHub Actions, Docker, container orchestration, or advanced deployment pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business workflows into working, maintainable software.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, systems thinking, and communication skills.
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder authorized to work in the United States.
Strong Plus π
- Strong project management skills and the ability to communicate and negotiate with multiple stakeholders, and to design systems that meet product requirements and project timelines, including leading technical initiatives or architectural decisions in a startup, scale-up, or fast-moving product company.
- Deep expertise in AI/ML-enabled products, OCR, document processing, workflow automation, or healthcare technology.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and agile delivery practices.
- Experience architecting systems in regulated environments such as healthcare, insurance, legal, or government.
- Track record of mentoring junior engineers or contributing to team growth.
The Mindset We Want π§
We are looking for someone who is:
- A builder and architect β someone who enjoys making things work at scale and shapes how systems evolve.
- Detail-oriented β because in our work, small mistakes can create big downstream issues.
- Collaborative β comfortable working with engineers at all levels, QA, product, operations, and leadership.
- Curious and expert β excited to dive deep into AI-enabled systems, complex workflows, and emerging technologies.
- Reliable β someone the team can count on during fast-moving releases and critical moments.
- Growth-minded and generous β looking for a long-term opportunity to develop as a senior engineer and technical leader, and willing to help others grow too.
- Remote-effective β experienced working asynchronously, communicating clearly across distributed teams, and staying engaged without constant meetings.
This is a role for someone looking for a meaningful, long-term opportunity to architect real systems, influence technical direction, and help build a great team.
