🚀We're Hiring for an exciting new opportunity: Senior Fullstack (Java + React)

(Mandatory to be based in Portugal - full remote)

What will you do?

Help build, evolve and operate scalable digital products that deliver value for our customers and colleagues. This role requires strong hands-on experience across the Java and JavaScript ecosystems, alongside practical experience using approved AI-assisted development tools as part of a modern software engineering workflow. The successful candidate will be comfortable working across the full stack and contributing throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Technical investigation and problem solving
• Ability to review, validate and improve AI-generated outputs to ensure quality, security and maintainability
• Strong commercial experience developing software using Java and Spring Boot
• Experience building and operating distributed systems, RESTful APIs and microservices
• Strong commercial experience using JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience building modern web applications using React (Next.js experience is desirable)
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, testing, code quality and maintainable code
• Strong understanding of web performance, accessibility and responsive design
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and modern software delivery approaches
• Experience with containerization technologies
• Understanding of infrastructure, monitoring and observability practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to contribute effectively within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
• Experience with AWS

Desirable

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms
• Experience with Kafka or other event-streaming technologies
• Experience working with modern observability and monitoring tools
• Experience working within large-scale digital, retail or eCommerce environments
