Role Description The Senior Software Engineer role at Zirve Kodlama is a part-time, remote position focused on designing, developing, and maintaining back-end web applications and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing scalable software solutions, writing clean and efficient code, reviewing code from other team members, and optimizing application performance. The engineer will collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to refine requirements, design system architectures, and ensure high-quality releases through testing and code reviews. This role also involves troubleshooting complex technical issues, improving development workflows, and contributing to technical documentation and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software architecture principles.
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, with experience building and maintaining production-grade services.
• Advanced Programming skills in at least one modern language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go) and familiarity with development tools and frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their practical application in designing maintainable and modular systems.
• Experience with APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and integrating back-end services with front-end applications.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices such as code reviews and continuous integration.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage part-time schedules effectively, and communicate clearly with distributed teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and security best practices is a plus.
