Role Description As a Full-Stack App Developer at SHAN TRANSLATION, you will design, develop, and maintain web and mobile applications that support the company’s translation and localization workflows. In this full-time remote role, you will work on both front-end and back-end components, integrate third-party APIs, and ensure applications are secure, scalable, and performant. Day-to-day tasks include implementing user interfaces, building and optimizing server-side logic and databases, writing clean and testable code, and troubleshooting issues across the stack. You will collaborate closely with product, operations, and language teams to gather requirements, refine features, and deliver improvements that enhance user experience and internal efficiency. The role also involves participating in code reviews, improving development processes, and staying current with modern frameworks and best practices.
Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and experience with at least one modern framework (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular).
• Solid back-end development skills using languages and frameworks like Node.js, Python/Django, Ruby on Rails, or similar, including RESTful API design.
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and basic understanding of data modeling and optimization.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD practices, and cloud platforms or hosting environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar).
• Familiarity with secure coding practices, authentication/authorization mechanisms, and performance monitoring and debugging across the stack.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and manage tasks independently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in SaaS products, workflow tools, or language/translation-related applications is a plus, as is comfort working in a multicultural environment.
