About The Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Trane Technologies. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, designing, and implementing micro-services and tools that enhance our Large Language Model (ARIA) capabilities. You will collaborate closely with development managers, AI research teams, and other stakeholders to deliver innovative software solutions that support our AI-driven climate solutions. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with at least five years of professional experience. Experience with unit testing frameworks such as pytest, and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK, are required. Candidates should have hands-on experience debugging micro-services within an AWS infrastructure, utilizing services such as CloudWatch, Lambda, API Gateway, and Queues. Knowledge of Linux environments, automation scripting, and version control systems like Git is also necessary. Familiarity with Large Language Model architectures, best practices in AI, and cloud-native microservices development will set candidates apart. - Design and develop new software programs, websites, and applications aligned with business needs.

- Manage project timelines, tasks, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation for new and existing software solutions.
- Participate actively in daily SCRUM meetings and Agile development processes.
- Collaborate with AI research teams to incorporate the latest methodologies and insights into software development.
- Document development processes, share best practices, and maintain organized knowledge repositories.
- Assist in supervising the deployment of software components and services developed by the team.
- Develop, upgrade, and maintain existing services and codebases to ensure operational excellence.
