Your Role

As a Vue JS Web Sr Developer at Capgemini, you will be responsible for designing and developing modern, scalable, and secure web applications using Vue.js and related technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build robust front-end architectures, drive technical decisions, and deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with business objectives.

You will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from solution design and development to testing, deployment, and continuous improvement. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business and technology stakeholders.

Responsibilities & Scope

• Design and develop user-facing applications using Vue.js and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Build scalable application foundations and front-end architectures from scratch
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions that meet business requirements
• Develop clean, maintainable, secure, and well-documented code following best practices
• Create reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and backend services
• Monitor security updates and vulnerabilities related to Vue.js and project dependencies
• Recommend and implement upgrades to maintain modern development and security standards
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Support integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing activities
• Stay current with emerging trends and advancements within the JavaScript and Vue.js ecosystem
• Collaborate within technology communities and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality delivery standards

Your Profile

• Experience – 4+ years of experience in web application development with strong expertise in designing and building applications from scratch
• Vue.js Expertise – Minimum 2+ years of strong hands-on experience developing applications with Vue.js
• JavaScript Proficiency – Deep knowledge of JavaScript and modern ES6+ features and capabilities
• Framework Knowledge – Strong understanding of Vue.js core principles including components, reactivity, state management, and Virtual DOM
• Frontend Development – Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less
• Application Architecture – Understanding of modern application design patterns, server-side rendering concepts, and component-based architecture
• Analytical Skills – Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities
• Collaboration & Communication – Excellent communication skills with a service-oriented and team-focused mindset
• Agile Methodologies – Experience working within Agile software development environments
