About The Role

The Frontend Engineer builds the web applications customers use to manage data, configure workflows, and complete high-value tasks. The role focuses on React and TypeScript development, with ownership spanning component architecture, state management, API integration, performance, and accessibility.

Working with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and data teams, the engineer turns complex product requirements into fast, reliable interfaces. The team values thoughtful technical decisions, measurable user experience improvements, and frontend systems that can scale across multiple product surfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and ship production features using React, TypeScript, Next.js, and modern browser APIs
• Design reusable UI components and contribute to a shared design system using tools such as Storybook and CSS-in-JS or utility-based styling
• Integrate frontend applications with REST and GraphQL APIs, handling loading states, errors, caching, authentication, and real-time updates
• Improve application performance through code splitting, bundle analysis, rendering optimization, and Core Web Vitals monitoring
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright or Cypress
• Partner with product and design teams to refine requirements, evaluate tradeoffs, and deliver accessible interfaces across desktop and mobile breakpoints
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and frontend standards for maintainability, observability, and release quality
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 3–8 years of professional frontend or software engineering experience, including ownership of production web applications
• Advanced proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript and substantial experience building applications with React
• Experience with Next.js or a comparable modern frontend framework, including routing, server-side rendering, or hybrid rendering patterns
• Strong understanding of browser fundamentals, responsive design, accessibility standards, web performance, and frontend security
• Hands-on experience integrating REST or GraphQL services and managing client-side state with tools such as React Query, Redux, or equivalent
• Experience writing automated tests and working with Git-based development workflows, CI pipelines, and code review practices
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; Bonus: experience with design systems, mobile web optimization, data visualization, or native mobile development
