About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in our digital transformation initiatives. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and delivering cloud-native applications and services that support our core Telecom domains, including Digital, Field Operations, Ordering, and OSS. You will take ownership from technical discovery through to production deployment, ensuring the development of secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions. Your expertise will guide architectural decisions, code quality, and mentorship, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the engineering team.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of experience in software development using languages such as C#/.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, Golang, or Java. Proven experience in building and maintaining microservices, Web APIs (GraphQL, gRPC, REST, SOAP/XML), and customer-facing UIs with modern JavaScript frameworks is essential. Strong understanding of event-driven architectures, messaging platforms like Azure Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and cloud services across Azure, AWS, or GCP is required. Candidates should have hands-on experience with containerization tools such as Kubernetes and Docker, and familiarity with data storage technologies including Cosmos DB, SQL Server, and MongoDB. Knowledge of observability platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation tools is also necessary. A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and to mentor junior developers will set candidates apart.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native services and integrations on Azure, utilizing container patterns like Kubernetes and adhering to best engineering practices.
• Lead the technical design process for features and integrations, including APIs, event streams, and data flows, while documenting decisions and guiding implementation through reviews and pair programming.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and patterns to enhance team efficiency and product quality.
• Ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to engineering standards; proactively identify and resolve defects, security vulnerabilities, and technical debt.
• Practice "you build it, you run it" ownership by instrumenting services with monitoring tools, supporting reliable releases, participating in incident response, and implementing follow-up improvements related to resilience, performance, and security.
• Collaborate daily with Product Owners, Architecture, QA, Platform, and business partners to refine requirements, identify risks, and align on project outcomes.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to other developers through code reviews, pairing sessions, and coaching to foster professional growth and maintain high standards.
• Deliver incremental software solutions each sprint by accurately estimating effort, breaking down user stories, and implementing technical tasks effectively.
