About the Role

You will be a member of engineering team, working directly with the founder to build, maintain, and improve our suite of web and application products. This is a hands-on role — you will own features from design to deployment and see your work go live quickly.What You Will Work On

• Build and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications
• Develop new features for our restaurant ordering ecosystem
• Design and integrate backend APIs with real-time data capabilities
• Build custom web apps for business clients across various industries
• Write clean, maintainable code that can scale as the product grows
• Contribute to UI/UX decisions and help shape how the product looks and feels
• Debug, optimise, and improve existing systems and codebases
• Collaborate closely with the founder on product direction and technical architecture

Requirements

Must Have

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in web or software development
• Able to speak Chinese and English.
• Proficient in at least one modern frontend framework (React, Vue, Angular, or similar)
• Solid understanding of backend development and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Comfortable working with real-time data and live-updating interfaces
• Familiar with version control using Git and basic deployment workflows
• Able to work independently, manage your own tasks, and deliver without heavy supervision
• Strong attention to detail — especially in UI, layout, and user experience

Good to Have

• Experience with cross-platform or mobile-friendly web development
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and managed backend services (AWS, GCP, Firebase, or similar)
• Experience with cloud-based file storage and image handling
• Understanding of web performance optimisation and core SEO principles
• Experience building SaaS products or multi-tenant applications
• Exposure to print or document generation (PDF, receipts, invoices)
• Ability to produce basic UI mockups or wireframes before writing code
